This Privacy Policy explains how JOY Cre8v Media LLC ("Quran Aligned," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Quran Aligned mobile application (the "App") and related services. By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Who we are

Quran Aligned is operated by JOY Cre8v Media LLC, a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, United States. Contact: support@quranaligned.com.

2. Information we collect

Account information

• Your name (first and last) when you register.
• Your email address.
• Your preferred language (English or Arabic).
• The authentication method you use (Email/Password, Sign in with Apple, Sign in with Google, or anonymous).

App usage and content data

• Your answers to in-app evaluations (e.g., the Deeds Balance Evaluation).
• Items you mark as read, done, or saved.
• Search queries you make inside the App.
• Requests, support tickets, or questions you submit through the App.

Device and technical information

• Device model, operating system version, and language settings.
• App version and crash diagnostic data needed to keep the App stable.
• A unique application identifier issued by Apple or Google for in-app purchase verification.

Subscription information

When you purchase a premium subscription, the payment is processed by Apple (through its App Store) or Google (through Google Play), depending on your device. We never receive or store your payment card, billing address, or Apple ID / Google account password. Apple or Google shares with us a transaction identifier, the product purchased, the purchase date, and the expiration date so we can unlock premium features for your account.

What we do not collect

• We do not collect your physical address, phone number, or precise location.
• We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.

3. How we use information

• To create and maintain your account.
• To deliver the App's features (showing your progress, evaluation results, saved items, etc.).
• To process and verify your premium subscription with Apple or Google.
• To send you transactional emails (account verification, password reset, support replies).
• To respond to your requests, questions, and support tickets.
• To detect, prevent, and respond to abuse, fraud, or security incidents.
• To comply with legal obligations.

4. Third-party services we use

The App is built on the following infrastructure providers:

• Apple Inc. — App Store, in-app purchase processing, Sign in with Apple, and App Store Server APIs used to verify subscriptions.
• Google LLC (Google Play) — Google Play Store distribution, in-app purchase processing, and Google Play Developer APIs used to verify subscriptions on Android.
• Google LLC (Firebase) — Authentication, Firestore database, Cloud Functions, and Hosting. Firebase processes data on our behalf.
• Twilio SendGrid Inc. — Transactional email delivery (verification, password reset, support communications).
• Google Sign-In — Optional authentication method.

Each of these providers operates under its own privacy policy. We share with them only the minimum information required to deliver the service you requested.

5. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

• With the third-party processors listed above, strictly to operate the App.
• To comply with a valid legal request, subpoena, or court order.
• To protect our rights, prevent fraud, or address security or technical issues.
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case you will be notified beforehand.

6. Data retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Evaluation answers and progress data are retained for as long as your account exists, so you can resume where you left off and see your history. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize associated data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or to resolve disputes.

7. Your rights

You can:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct any information that is inaccurate or out of date.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Withdraw consent and stop using the App at any time.
• If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, California, or another region with applicable privacy law, you have additional rights granted by that law (e.g., the right to data portability or the right to object to processing).

8. Children's privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete the information.

9. International users

The App is operated from the United States. If you use the App from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.

10. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), encryption at rest where supported by our providers, and authenticated access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by email. The "Effective date" at the top of this page shows when the most recent version became effective.
